Burn time
Burn your candle for a minimum of 4 hours, or until the wax has melted to the edge of the glass. This helps prevent an uneven burn.
Never burn your candle for longer than 4 hours, this prevents a large flame. -
Wick trimming
Maintain regular wick trimming. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch. A wick that is too long will smoke + burn faster, a wick that is too short wont burn as well.
If your candle is burning uneven, adjust the wick back to the centre of the jar, or closer to the side that needs more heat. -
General Care
Always place your candle on a heat resistant surface that is stable and level.
Keep your candle away from direct sunlight + other heat sources. A candle left in direct sunlight may loose it's scent or discolour.
If black discolouration occurs inside the jar, simply wipe away with a damp cloth.
If you wish to keep your jar - to remove remaining wax, wipe it out with hot water or place the jar in the freezer for 20mins and pop the wax out. (always dispose of excess wax in the bin not down the drain)
